Greetings fellow Cowboy Shooters! What a great day to shoot at Buzzard Gulch! We had 48 shooters join us today for our annual Hawaiian shoot - and boy, were there some funny shirts & hats! From all of the smiles that I saw everyone had a great time with it! Happy Birthday was sung to Alley Cat - even though I think she hated being the center of attention!! We had several visitors and a few of them even shot a stage! Father & Son - Jim & Kyle Deck came out to watch and before it was over Krazy Kyle had shot 2 stages and Jovial Jim had shot one - I bet they join us soon!! Smackwater Jack had an 8yr old visitor that got to shoot his pistol - you should have seen the smile on that boys face! We had watermelon after the shoot because we found that having food is the best way to get people to stay for a meeting! Final details were put on the Ruckus work schedule, parking, food etc... We will be sending the schedule out in the next few days, so if you need to change something, please call Burly Bill. Ruckus is going to be here quickly - BUT its not too late to sign up. FYI - if you are going to camp out the earliest time you can bring your trailer is this coming Saturday @ 7:00am. The pre-shoot for the workers will be on Sunday (for Fridays stages) and Monday (for Saturdays stages). If you need other accommodations or have questions, please contact Burly Bill @ 830.2936
Congrats to our overall match winner - Blindingly fast, I cant believe what I just saw - Roys Creek Dan, who was also CLEAN for the day - I guess that's why he is our Oklahoma State Champion! Kuddos also to Rock Creek Rustler & Gunny 00 who were also CLEAN for the day!
And, my apologies to Oklahoma Bound - who I gave a 511.81 second stage to for the Wed shoot! It was really 51.81! I corrected it and am attaching a new spread sheet. - Sorry OB!
